Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller has introduced a private member's bill called the Reducing Waste One Pod at a Time Act. The purpose of this bill is to make compostable coffee pods a provincial standard. Muskoka Roastery Coffee Co. is the second company in Canada to launch the completely compostable coffee pods and is partnering with Miller to help push for change and divert coffee pods away from the landfill.
