Swift River Energy Limited is hosting a public meeting on Thursday, Sept. 21 to update the public on the project and to hear from them as well. There have been protests earlier in the month to stop construction. Members of Save the Bala Falls were there in those protests. The public meeting will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bala Community Centre, 1008 Maple Ave.
