First responders were recognized again by the Gravenhurst Rotary Club for their service to the community at a recent club meeting.

Bracebridge OPP is warning everyone to be wary of Cottage Rental Scams after receiving numerous reports of them in the area.

A serious fire broke out at a home in Gravenhurst early this morning. Samantha Johnson was on the scene later on to find out what happened and what the next steps are. YourTV has heard from the OPP that this is being treated as a death investigation after human remains were discovered inside the home. According to police one family member is missing from the group that were inside the home at the time when the fire broke out. The name of the victim is being withheld for now, but more details will be provided soon.

On April 29, 2020 the OPP TRU team arrested two persons in the parking lot of Tim Horton's on Depot Drive. Soon after, the Muskoka CSCU with assistance from the Orillia CSCU executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Bracebridge. As a result of this investigation, two people have been charged for multiple offences.

EMS recently showed their appreciation and gratitude for front line medical workers at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital.

Three first responders are getting recognized for their tireless work to keep Muskoka a safe and enjoyable place to live and play. 

The OPP in Muskoka is bringing cyber security tips to the people that sometimes need it the most, the younger generation. Samantha Bigley with Bracebridge OPP spent at a day Gravenhurst Public School teaching kids how to be cautious while having fun on social media.
