The holidays don’t always feel like the most wonderful time of the year, especially for someone grieving the death of a loved one.
Hospice Niagara is offering two free Coping with Grief During the Holidays sessions, open to anyone across Niagara.
- St. Catharines — Thursday, Nov. 28 at The Stabler Centre, 403 Ontario St., Unit 2.
- Welland — Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Seasons Welland, 163 First Ave.
The workshops will include information to help people better understand grief, especially during a time of year when the expectation is happiness and joy, and some practical strategies on making the holidays less difficult.
