Dr. Jim Weese returns to Windsor to share his stories and research on Exceptional Leadership Practices. A former Professor and Dean at the University of Windsor and University of Western Ontario. Dr. Weese has travelled the world addressing multinational corporations, Olympic sports teams and top education institutions with his insightful and interesting message.  February 28, 6pm at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, 201 Riverside Dr. W. $40 per ticket, available at windsor.snapd.com. Museum Windsor is celebrating the launch of Heritage Week with free admission to both the Chimczuk Museum and the François Baby House on Saturday, February 16, 2019. This is the perfect opportunity for visitors to explore two new exhibits opening at the Chimczuk Museum: Questers Collect and Egypt: Gift of the Nile. For Questers Collect, Museum Windsor has collaborated with local Questers to display some of the unique personal collections found in Windsor-Essex County. This exhibit features a wide variety of collections including vintage purses, walking sticks, samplers, uranium glass, beer steins and much more. Egypt: Gift of the Nile is a travelling exhibit from the Royal Ontario Museum that explores ancient Egyptian life. Some of the topics covered in this exhibit include family life, education, religion, the afterlife and much more. Ancient Egypt visits Windsor for a limited time only, so don’t miss your chance to learn all about this amazing civilization. There will be many great family friendly activities happening throughout the day: ·        Ancient Egyptian themed crafts available all day with a guided craft activity from 12pm-1pm ·        Local Questers will be on hand throughout the day to talk about their collections ·        Guided tour of both exhibits from 1pm-2pm ·        Screening of the PBS Documentary “Secrets of the Dead: Ultimate Tut” at 2pm Celebrate Heritage Week with a visit to Chimczuk Museum and François Baby House.
