Chrysler Theatre Kids present their first full-length musical production: High School Musical Jr. This show is fun for the whole family, and what a treat to see young people on stage, many for the first time! The show stars local kids from the community ages 8-14 performing a stage version of the extremely popular 2006 Disney film, High School Musical. This show features the talents of fifteen youth actors: Jed Polsky, Maria Hausmann, Sienna Gidillini, Matt Verzosa, Vanessa Randell, Corinne Beneteau, Luke Taylor, Charlotte Bondy, Giada Gidillini, Madilyn Zajac, Cayde Solet, Shaila Goldhar, Makenna Zakoor, Meyah Goldhar, and Huxlee Ball. This show’s crew contains the guidance of seasoned community theatre performers Gemma Cunial (Director), Hope Forman (Choreographer), and Jeremy Burke (Music Director). High School Musical Jr. runs at the beautiful Chrysler Theatre (201 Riverside Drive W, Windsor, ON), for two performances: March 1st at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are $10 for general admission. Doors open at 1:30pm for the 2pm show, and 6:30pm for the 7pm show. Tickets can be purchased at chryslertheatre.com, through the Chrysler Theatre box office (519-252-6579), or at the door.

Panelists include: author and community organizer Dave Meslin, whose book Teardown: Rebuilding Democracy from the Ground Up, explores how to raise our expectations and re-imagine a new democracy and Liz Benneian, a Director with A Better Niagara, a citizen’s coalition dedicated to better local governance and citizen engagement. About the panelists: Dave Meslin is a community activist who inspires better engagement between government and citizens. His TED Talk about apathy has more than 1.7 million views. He has been called a “wizard,” a “mastermind,” and “the ultimate ideas guy.” Vineland resident Liz Benneian is a Director with A Better Niagara, the citizen’s coalition dedicated to better local governance and citizen engagement. Over the past 16 years, Liz has organized many successful citizen-led campaigns and worked with groups around the Province, teaching them how to Organize To Win.
