Mikes Coates has put his name in for the riding of Renfrew-Nippising-Pembroke. He is looking to become the Conservative rep for the county, a job currently held by Cheryl Gallant.

The Town of Arnprior voted in favour of rejecting the proposed Local Share Plan that AMO Looks to put in place which would see a 1% hst increase.

We caught up with the Renfrew BIA to talk about the effects the Bill 148 changes will have on small business owners in the downtown core.

O.P.P are still concerned with motorist in regards to the Move Over Law. Motorist must slow down and change lanes when possible for emergency vehicles and Tow trucks that are on the side of the road for safety.

The Town of Renfrew recently went through a parking study to maximize the towns parking for the downtown core. The study will also help with plans for the downtown reconstruction.

The Town of Renfrew will be repairing the swinging bridge over the summer which will increase the life line of the bridge for another 15-20 years.

The Town of Renfrew would like a little more input in to the Sunshine Coach operations given their yearly donation of the Gas Tax Grant which will see the Town give roughly $240,00 this year to the service.
