On January 28, 2021 at approximately 1:25 p.m. members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fire at an automotive repair business on Petawawa Boulevard in the Town of Petawawa. Employees were able to safely evacuate and no injuries have been reported as a result of the fire. A section of Petawawa Boulevard is currently closed between Civic Centre Drive and Mohns Avenue as firefighters from the Petawawa Fire Department battle the fire.    

The Willis College Scholarship Program is currently enrolling 300 students into the program to complete a free education to become a Personal Support Worker. What’s the catch? NO CATCH! This program is designed to help fill the desperate need for Personal Support Workers in Ontario through Willis College’s highly regarded program.
