Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority's Under the Stars

Join the Peterborough Astronomical Association (PAA) in an exploration of the night sky. Start the evening off with equipment demonstrations and displays, and then enjoy an ‘Astronomy 101’ presentation in the Great Hall of the Ganaraska Forest Centre before venturing back outside to try your hand at searching the dark sky with members of the PAA. The fee to participate in this informative and educational evening is $15.00 + HST per adult and $10.00 + HST per child (16 & under). The 718 Yukon Squadron are looking for young men and women between the age of 12 and 18  who want to participate in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities and learn valuable life and work skills such as teamwork, leadership and citizenship.
